Children's Learning and Discovery of Rochester (ChildROC) is a non-profit group of enthusiastic volunteers promoting early childhood learning & discovery in the greater Rochester area. It spans the following areas and always strives to serve the community better!
Bilingual English-Chinese Storytime
Kids Drama Group
Children's Chorus (started early 2020)
Since January 2018, ChildROC (then known RCS) has started collaboration with the Chinese School of Rochester, Brighton Memorial Library, Henrietta Public Library, with initial guidance from ICRA headquartered in Boston, MA.
Communication with Penfield Public Library started in early 2020 targeted for starting in September 2020, and was however disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic. We regret that we could not bring bilingual storytime to Penfield Library in person. However, we are starting online bilingual storytimes that can be shared across the three libraries.
We would like to thank all organizations that helped ChildROC grow! If you are interested in collaboration with us, please contact us!
