Highlights of ChildROC's performance at Strong Museum on May 1, 2021

Ms. Su

Jessica Gong

I'm 13 years old and I'm from Shanghai. Before I came into contact with art, I only looked forward to it. Later, through one year of contact and learning, my heart became infatuated with it. I like playing guzheng. I hope I can fully show myself on the stage. I hope I can go deeper and farther in this direction! I am willing to bring more joy to the audience with my sincere heart and devoted performance!

Phoenix Dance Studio,Dancer- Mingzi Knebel

Phoenix Dance Studio was found in Rochester NY early in 2008. Phoenix Dance Studio has been presenting dances follow the traditional tribal and folk dances and are perfect integrations of Chinese legends, history, costumes and the modern art. We are dedicated to present Chinese culture to the diverse audience in the form of music and dance.

Zao Lei

Rochester City School District teacher. A life-long learner. One of the children's favorite presenters from ChildROC.

Katherine Yang

She studied visual communication design in the university so she likes all kinds of folk art and crafts. Throughout making the Chinese paper cutting she wished to contribute a little to the culture communication between east and west.

We sincerely thank the Strong Museum for inviting ChildROC to celebrate the Asian Pacific American Heritage Month as well as all ChildROC volunteers (@yunying, @keke, @Jason, @Kaikai) who made this event possible!
